In addition to the private/semi-private plunge pools of the casitas, guests of this Acapulco resort have access to a private beach club with two saltwater pools and a freshwater pool. The palm-fringed sundecks of the pools include cushioned lounge chairs, umbrellas, and shade tents. A fitness center, steam room, and spa services (surcharge) are also on site.
A water sports desk at the resort's beach club rents snorkeling gear and kayaks and arranges water skiing, fishing trips, and beginner and advanced scuba-diving lessons and excursions. Snorkeling opportunities lie within the beach club's two saltwater pools, home to numerous fish. Three lighted tennis courts are available at the resort (surcharges).
For a surcharge, the Las Brisas Acapulco offers a seasonal weekly Jeep safari, a five-hour tour that includes a stop at a freshwater lagoon, a bird-watching boat trip around the lagoon, canoe races, buffet lunch, and live music.
On nearby Acapulco Bay beaches, independent operators rent personal watercraft and motor boats and book parasailing flights and banana-boat rides. Hiking in the Sierra Madre Mountains surrounding Acapulco, horse riding on ocean beaches noted for surfing, and jet-boat river trips are popular activities. Acapulco has four championship 18-hole golf courses, all located about seven km (4.5 mi) from the hotel.

"二回目ですが"

What a great place! Loved it and I would go back any time! The room was very specious and very nicely furnished. We had a balcony with an oversized sofa and a separate terrace with a private pool and sun loungers. As the property spreads over a high hill you need to call for a transport to the restaurant, the lobby, the beach etc. The service is professional […] and polite. The Sunday’s breakfast was also very tasty. The beach club is very pleasant although its only opened between 10-6pm and there is no beach access. Our room was ready just after 10am and we were allowed to have a late check out at 6pm for no extra cost. I loved the pink “touch” throughout the property. Great place to totally relax and get away from everything and everyone! It is in the hills a little above Acapulco, so be prepared to take a taxi to town and back if you want to see the town and try different restaurants etc... We really enjoyed the recent stay for 5 nights for our 25th anniversary. This is one of the best "noneymoon" places! Very convenient location, outstanding view to the bay, great service, nice staff... We have no complaints at all! It was non-season period (June), so we had 100% privacy with a private pool (it's quite big!) with nobody around. I personally […] wouldn't call it a hotel, as it has more than 250 casitas (I would call them villas) spreaded through the flank of the mountain (big hill). Our "villa" was on the top of the hill, so we could see the whole bay and Acapulco. We didn't want to leave our casita for a day or two - we had enough vine and food from the nearest Wall-Mart: 10 min with a taxi, 200 pesos round trip (15 bucks). For a dinner you will have unlimited choices of the restourants in the city: 15 min taxi, 20 bucks round trip. They clean the room twice a day and throwing flowers everywhere and even in the pool. I've been to Las Brisas four times. My whole family loves it. This time, however (April 2012, just before spring break) we had very bad experiences with the restaurants. Our lunch at La Concha took TWO FULL HOURS, which you do not want to waste being in such a lovely area. The next morning we went for breakfast at El Tulipán. We could see five empty […] tables, but after being registered by the hostess, checking out the buffet, and asking for a glass of juice while we waited, I had to go to the hostess personally to ask her if we could sit at an empty table. She said they were "getting it ready for us" and to have a look at the buffet while we waited. It wasn't untill we showed our anger that she let us sit down. Didn't much enjoy our breakfast after that. I was at Las Brisas 28 years ago and having married since then I thought I would take my wife to experience it. Of course we received the State Department warnings about travel in Mexico but residing in the Washington, DC area and having traveled extensively we took them with a grain of salt.
